Corvette Marine, now owned by the management team of Fleming Yachts, has introduced the all-new Corvette 340 family cruising yacht.

The Corvette 340 offers more interior living space, a larger flying bridge area and a more spacious aft deck than the popular Corvette 320. It also features an extended fiberglass swim platform. Extending the aft deck to the full width of the hull creates a large aft master stateroom that features a centerline double berth and a separate head and shower stall. Forward, a second stateroom features twin berths and a private head with shower.

The successor to the popular Corvette 320 is now being built at the Tung Hwa boatbuilding facility in Taiwan. The width of the 340's side decks are 18" (the 320's decks are 24" wide) which provide easy access to the bow from port and starboard, and the teak decking ensures sure footing. These slightly narrower decks increase the interior width of the main saloon and galley by one foot making the area much more spacious and allow for side-by-side interior helm seats. The extra width also benefits the flying bridge area, which features a centerline, double helm seat.

The 340 will be powered by twin Yanmar 315 hp diesel engines as standard. Optional Volvo D6 330 hp and Cummins QSB 330 hp diesels are available as options.

Hull number one was launched in March 2010 and is in the U.K. available for inspection and sea trials. Hull number 3 will arrive on the East Coast of the U.S. in July.
